Compared with the backward traditional marking technology, the optical fiber laser marking machine, with its advanced technology and unique advantages, has become the preferred machine for many processing manufacturers to mark the workpiece. When the optical fiber laser marking machine is used to process the workpiece, the pattern marked is often unclear due to improper operation. Let’s talk about the reasons why the pattern marked by the optical fiber laser marking machine is unclear:
Cause 1: When using the optical fiber laser marking machine for work, the focusing lens of the laser marking machine is not properly adjusted. When marking the workpiece with the method of off focus. The laser is beyond the focus depth range of the focusing mirror, which makes the marked pattern unclear.
Reason 2: When the laser marking machine is working, the laser is emitted by the laser, then transmitted to the reflector through the optical fiber, and the reflector illuminates the object surface for marking. When marking, the laser cannot be reflected on the surface of the workpiece completely because the workpiece is not fixed properly or there are stains on the part where the laser emits the laser, or there are stains or damages on the reflector, making the marked pattern unclear.
The third reason is that the laser will gather a lot of heat when it emits. When the laser shines on the mirror surface, the heat will also be concentrated on the mirror surface along with the laser beam. Excessive heat will deform the mirror surface. The mirror is deformed and cannot focus better. Therefore, the reflected laser beam will make the marking pattern unclear.
Cause 4: When the workpiece is fixed on the surface of the workbench, the surface of the workbench inclines. The position of the reflector surface is relatively not parallel to the worktable and the workpiece surface. Therefore, when the laser beam shines on the workpiece surface for marking, errors will occur between the parameters set previously and the marking pattern will be unclear.
