Today, I test out various finishes to see which gives the best results on slate tiles.
I tried variousbinations of matt and gloss sprays, dedicated stone sealers, and a mix that I created myself by mixing 50% boiled linseed oil and 50% white spirits together.
I tested both before and after the engraving to see which results were best. I even scrubbed them with soapy water to see if that would degrade any of the finishes.
