What if the laser cutting machine doesn’t emit light

During the use of optical fiber laser cutting machines, there may occasionally be situations where the laser cutting machine does not emit light. When such failures occur, first check the machine, which can be carried out in the following steps:

1. Check whether the water circulates normally. If the water protection fails, it can be short-circuited for use

2. Point presetting to see if the ammeter swings. If it does not, check whether the laser power supply is powered on by 220v. If it is powered on but does not emit light, it may have a power failure and need to be replaced

3. You can also test the GND ground wire and P water protection nipple on the power supply to see if the water protection is broken, and short connect+5v and AIN to check the maximum output power. If there is light, it indicates that the potentiometer is broken and needs to be replaced

4. If the main program does not emit light, the connecting card can use an ammeter to measure whether there is a DC voltage of more than 3v between the 15 (H) or 16 (L) corners and the 14 corners. If so, it indicates that the card is normal, and there is no possibility that there is a problem with the card’s signal

5. There is a noise inside the laser power supply, usually due to poor contact at the power supply connector, which requires re welding or connection,

The laser cutting machine does not emit light when turned on

1. Check whether the laser power switch (green switch) of the machine is turned on;

2. Check whether the water chiller is turned on, and check whether the light output signal, control signal, and water protection signal of the water chiller are normal;

3. Check whether the laser tube emits light normally; Weak light (purple) is abnormal, and normal light is pink; Whether the water flow rate of the laser tube is normal;

4. Check whether the laser optical path is normal. Press the light to check whether the laser tube is on. If it is on but the laser head is not lit, there is a problem with the optical path;

5. Check whether the button panel lights are normal, check whether the machine operation panel, power, or computer software parameters are correct;

6. Check if the laser power supply fan does not rotate. If it does not, replace the power supply;

7. Check whether light is emitted directly from the laser power supply signal. If light is emitted, the laser tube and laser power supply are normal; If the light still does not come out, it indicates that the laser power supply is broken and needs to be replaced;

8. Is the voltage below 200V.

The laser cutting machine does not emit light during operation

1. Check whether the water tank of the optical fiber laser cutting machine alarms.

(1) Alarm: Connect the water inlet and outlet at the back of the water tank with a water pipe, and power on the water tank to see if the alarm is triggered. If the alarm goes off, the water tank is broken. If there is no alarm, the water path of the optical fiber laser cutting machine is blocked. Check whether the water pipe is bent or pressed by something, and whether there is debris in the water tank (replace the purified water in the water tank).

(2) If there is no alarm, check whether the power fan of the fiber laser cutting machine is running. The power supply fan of the optical fiber laser cutting machine rotates, and the laser power supply is short-circuited with electric wires.

2. Whether the fiber laser cutting machine emits light.

(1) If light is emitted, the wire on the motion control card is loose, or the motion control card is damaged (replace the board).

(2) No light, the laser power supply is broken. (In rare cases, the fiber laser cutting machine breaks down) (Check whether there is a spark phenomenon at the high-voltage end of the fiber laser cutting machine, which can easily burn off the laser power supply and electronic components of the board). The power fan of the fiber laser cutting machine does not rotate. Use an electric pen to test the 220V port of the laser power supply for power. There is power, and the laser power supply is broken (repair or replace the power supply); No power, check the power switch and wiring of the fiber laser cutting machine for problems.
