Maintenance method of optical fiber laser cutting machine

At low temperatures, it is important to prevent the fiber laser cutter from freezing. Now let’s solve this problem through the maintenance measures of the laser generator and the chiller. Therefore, it is necessary to take some measures to keep the optical fiber laser cutting machine working normally in cold winter. Here are some practical measures:
Maintenance of laser cutting machine chiller
1. Air conditioner or other heating equipment shall be installed to keep the temperature at about 10 ℃.
2. Tap water will freeze, so please keep the water running continuously by running the chiller.
3. Add water into the water tank to mix ethylene glycol antifreeze.
4. If the optical fiber laser cutter is not used for a long time or the power is turned off, the water tank of the chiller should be drained.
Drainage steps
A. Turn off the equipment and open the drain valve to drain all water from the tank.
B. Open the filter in the cooler and drain all water from the filter.
C. Open the drain screw under the tank to empty it.
D. Remove the water pipe behind the water tank and mark it clearly, then inject 0.2MPA gas into the water pipe( Φ 12) And extrude the water in the laser.
E. Inject 0.2MPA gas into water pipe( Φ 8) And extrude the water in the laser head.
Maintenance method of optical fiber laser cutting machine
Laser maintenance
A. It is strongly recommended to use industrial antifreeze for the optical fiber cutting laser machine, which is a kind of industrial water glycol harmful to human health and should be 10% to 20% of the water tank, but please note that it should not exceed 20% of the water tank.
Remark: Water type propylene glycol is prohibited
B. For those optical fiber laser cutting machines that do not need continuous operation, we only need to let the chiller of the medium power machine run at night without power on. For high-power lasers with the maximum power exceeding 2000W, 24V power must always be turned on to keep the coolant circulating, and the temperature should be higher than the freezing point.
Instructions for adding antifreeze
The ratio shall be 30% ethylene glycol and 70% water.
If the temperature is below zero, ethylene glycol must be added.
Please remember that glycol is not alcohol, we need to strictly distinguish
When purchasing, please note that the full name is “antifreeze glycol”.
remarks:
Discharge water with appropriate air pressure to protect the laser, and use antifreeze with appropriate concentration to make the water flow easily.
All water in the laser, laser head and cooler shall be drained to effectively protect the whole water cooling pipe and related components.
