● Add cooling points at corners
When cutting sharp metal plates, the position where excessive combustion is more likely to occur is usually at the sharp corner. Excessive burning will cut the sharp corner into a circle, then you can add cooling points at the sharp corner, pause at the sharp corner, and blow.
● Use high-power laser
When cutting carbon steel, a higher power laser can be used. The bright surface cutting technology can effectively avoid excessive burning, and this cutting technology can cut the finished product with no burr and bright cutting surface.
● Nitrogen cutting
In the metal plate cutting with oxygen as the auxiliary gas, nitrogen can be switched for cutting. During nitrogen cutting, the material will be completely melted by laser energy, and nitrogen will be blown out of the slit to avoid improper chemical reaction. The temperature in the melting point zone is low, which has the cooling and protection effect of nitrogen, stable and uniform reaction, and high cutting quality. The section is fine and smooth, the surface roughness is low, and there is no oxide layer.
● Increase air pressure
When the optical fiber laser cutting machine is used to process aluminum and stainless steel, the auxiliary gas used is nitrogen or air, and there is no burning edge in the cutting process. However, due to the high temperature of the material in the small hole, the slag sag in the hole will be more sufficient. In this case, burr and slag can be reduced by increasing the pressure of auxiliary gas.
