Before the laser cutting machine starts cutting, it needs to drill a hole, and then take this hole as the starting point for cutting. There are two ways of laser cutting machine drilling:
One is the blasting perforation technology. Through continuous laser irradiation, a groove is formed on the laser surface, and then the laser beam is used for cutting, which can quickly melt the material and complete the perforation. In this case, the quality of perforation can not be guaranteed. The hole size is about half of the thickness of the plate. Due to the quality of the plate, the quality of this kind of perforation is also different. Sometimes it is not smooth, which affects the quality of the workpiece. In addition, this kind of perforation technology uses the method of oxygen blowing. The blowing pressure required for perforation is large, so it is easy to cause slag splashing.
Another common method is laser pulse cutting perforation. This method is to use high peak power to cut, melt or vaporize a small amount of material, use nitrogen as auxiliary gas, and reduce oxidation reaction in the air. Compared with the above method, this method has a special feature that the gas pressure is smaller, and the produced slag is mainly small particles, and there will be no slag hanging, And the thickness of the plate has little influence on this method, that is to say, the plate with any thickness can be made.
In general, the laser pulse cutting method is more accurate than the blasting cutting method and suitable for fine machining.
