Laser cutting machine plays an increasingly important role in the development of the sheet metal industry. A laser cutting machine with advanced technology and powerful functions is a complex system integrating light, machinery and electricity. Its practical cutting function is an important guarantee to achieve high efficiency and high-quality sheet metal processing. How much is a laser cutting machine with good technology?
When the laser cutting machine is cutting different materials, the focus of the laser beam is required to fall on different positions of the workpiece section, so the focus position, namely focusing, needs to be adjusted. The early laser cutting machine generally adopts manual focusing mode.
The bottom of the cutting head is a nozzle. During the cutting process, the distance between the nozzle and the workpiece is about 0.5~1.5mm, which is a fixed value, that is, the height of the nozzle does not change. Therefore, the focus cannot be adjusted by lifting the cutting head, otherwise the cutting process cannot be completed.
The focal length of the focusing mirror cannot be changed, so the focus cannot be adjusted by changing the focal length. When the focusing mirror rises, the focus rises. This is a way of auto focusing, which requires the motor to drive the focusing mirror up and down to achieve auto focusing.
With the automatic focusing function, the processing efficiency of the laser cutting machine can be significantly improved. The piercing time is greatly reduced when processing thick plates. When processing workpieces of different materials and thicknesses, the machine can automatically quickly adjust the focus to the most appropriate position.
When the sheet is placed on the workbench, if the sheet is skewed, it may cause waste during cutting. If the cutting machine can sense the angle and origin of the sheet tilt, the cutting program can be adjusted to suit the angle and position of the sheet, so as to avoid waste.
Centralized piercing, also known as pre piercing, is a processing technology, not the function of the laser cutting machine itself. When laser cutting thick plates, the cutting process of each contour has to go through two stages, one is piercing, the other is cutting. There are also risks associated with concentrated perforation. If a collision occurs during the cutting process, resulting in the change of the plate position, the part that has not been cut may be scrapped. The application of centralized piercing technology needs to cooperate with the use of automatic programming system.
During laser cutting, the sheet metal is held by the serrated support strip. If the cut part is not small enough, it cannot fall from the gap of the support strip. If it is not big enough to be supported by the support strip, it may lose balance and even tilt. The cutting head moving at high speed may collide with it, which may cause shutdown or damage to the cutting head.
This phenomenon can be avoided by using the bridge cutting process. When programming the laser cutting of the plate, the closed contour can be broken in several places, so that after the cutting is completed, the parts will stick to the surrounding materials without falling off. These breaks are bridge positions, also known as breakpoints or micro connections. The bridge positions connect the parts with the surrounding materials. The mature programming software can automatically add a suitable number of bridge positions according to the length of the contour. It can also distinguish the internal and external contours, and decide whether to add the bridge position, so that the internal contour without the bridge position will fall off, while the external contour of the bridge position will stick to the base metal without falling off, thus eliminating the sorting work. The prices of laser cutting machines with different processes are different.
