Precautions for using laser engraving machine:
(1) When using automatic focusing, it must be noted that the automatic measuring rod must be tightened, otherwise the top of the laser head will be removed from the rail on the surface of the workbench.
(2) When the laser engraving machine is working, it is forbidden to open the cover (top cover and front cover), otherwise the laser emission will be stopped and the processing quality will be affected.
(3) During workpiece processing, the smoke exhaust and smoke blowing equipment must be opened to avoid dust pollution of the focusing lens and reflecting lens, otherwise, the focusing and reflection of the lens will be affected, and the processing strength and accuracy will be indirectly affected.
(4) During the processing of wood and paper parts, the processing speed and intensity must be paid close attention to to avoid the flame caused by slow processing speed and high intensity. The flame will damage the focus lens, and the light will affect the processing intensity and precision, so the heavy machine will not be used.
(5) For the workpiece irregularly processed by the initial user, the red light must be positioned first to determine whether the processing position is correct and scrap is easy to produce.
(6) When processing deformed materials such as veneer and paperboard, the deformation range shall be adjusted to make the horizontal difference less than 1mm to avoid too large focusing gap and affecting the processing accuracy. When processing paper, the paper must be fixed to avoid displacement. When cutting paper, especially soft paper (paper, wool edge paper), 15-20 pieces can be stacked, soaked in water, leveled, and then cut. This improves efficiency and avoids the danger of fuel burning.
(7) When cutting, remove more than 2cm from the workbench to avoid damage to the back surface of the workpiece after laser reflection.
(8) Clean the reflector lens and focus lens: hold the lens with two fingers, immerse the other hand in the liquid with camera lens cleaner, gently drag the lens surface, and do not press the lens surface with fingers to avoid scratches; Or use a cotton swab to gently wipe the focus lens of lens cleaner, and clean it with straight light.
(9) When carving point files, the resolution of vector files is generally high (500dpi or 600dpi) and low (500dpi rough model or 300dpi). The effect of this carving will be very good.
2、 Common faults and solutions
(1) How to save time
When manufacturing a large number of small products of the same specification (such as 75x25mm breast plate), the maximum width in the X direction should be less than 300mm, so that the head of the laser can rotate faster to accelerate. When carving a lattice, you can reduce the resolution appropriately to improve the speed. In addition, the processing depth of the laser is proportional to the power and speed, that is, the faster the speed is, the deeper the depth is, and the deeper the reverse direction is under the same power, so as to maximize the speed and power and shorten the time.
(2) How to avoid waste
The general laser engraving machine is equipped with red light positioning equipment as standard. When processing irregular products, first observe whether the carving position is accurate with red positioning, and then conduct formal processing. For materials that have not been seen before, the principle of low power to high power shall be followed.
(3) No laser
First, check the upper cover, the front door magnetic switch and its circuit are loose and closed (Anton has a user. The first night before work, he wiped the machine from inside to outside. The next morning, he found that the machine did not emit laser light. After checking, it was the reason why the magnetic switch of the machine was closed). If there is a problem, recheck the reflector and focal lens (the user cleans the mirror without fixing the screws, which causes the lens to loosen, but there is no laser). If maintenance personnel must be contacted for the above reasons, please do not deal with it.
(4) Large area carving and cutting with different depths
This is caused by incorrect laser light path. Just adjust the light path (special training when purchasing the machine).
(5) Character deformation
a. If the head pulley is seriously worn, causing the head to loosen, replace the pulley.
If the tension on both sides of the belt is different in the y-axis direction, adjust the hexagon tension at the rear end of the y-axis.
If the left x-axis wheel is worn, replace the wheel.
If the x-axis motor fails, replace the motor.
If the fastening screws of the x-axis motor and pulley are loose, tighten the screws.
