What quality defects does the optical fiber laser cutting machine have in the cutting process

The key of fiber laser cutting machine is to reasonably set the process parameters, including fiber laser power, focus position, pulse frequency and duty cycle, cutting speed, auxiliary gas pressure and nozzle specification of cutting head. In the laser cutting process, if the process parameters are set unreasonably, cutting quality problems will occur, or even scrap materials. What quality defects does the machine have in the cutting process?
1. Hook head
Generally, in the wide seam cutting process, the speed of the laser cutting head at the bend is not adjusted properly or the linkage between the cutting head and the material is not well coordinated, which leads to the hook;
2. Blast hole
When the laser cutting head is drilling, the laser output power is too high, the pulse frequency is too fast, the material thickness is uneven or the material is impure, and the hole burst phenomenon is easy to occur;
3. Superwidth
When the laser output power is too high, the feed speed is too slow, and the auxiliary gas pressure is too low during the laser cutting process, which will cause material ablation, then the phenomenon of super width will occur;
4. Slag hanging inside
Slag hanging is a technical problem that is easy to occur and difficult to solve in the laser cutting process, especially in the processing of medium and thick plates, so it is very effective to avoid slag hanging by improving the pressure of auxiliary gas and other technological measures during the processing;
5. External slag spraying
In the process of laser cutting, because the laser power is too low and the pulse frequency is too fast when drilling, the slag will be sprayed externally due to the reverse injection of molten slag. At this time, we should adjust the laser output power and the drilling pulse frequency to reduce or avoid the external spraying slag. Of course, a small amount of external spraying slag can be polished on the surface.
