High power optical fiber laser cutting machine is more and more popular in the sheet metal processing market. Especially recently, the laser devices independently developed in China have matured, providing convenient conditions for machine production.
4kw and 6kw fiber laser cutting machines have become the primary task of many manufacturers. It has many advantages for cutting medium and thick plates, for example, computer program control can save plates, and the cutting surface is smooth and burr free.
However, in terms of sheet metal drilling, there are relatively high requirements for machines and operators. Incorrect operation usually leads to irregular round hole cutting, and this often happens in actual operation.
Generally speaking, the failure of round hole cutting is caused by the following reasons:
1. Poor light intensity adjustment.
The light intensity between the maximum and minimum values shall not exceed 5 per cent. Do not run the machine too fast. If not, the outcome may be inconsistent.
2. Check whether there is any problem with the hardware, such as lens, nozzle and laser head.
3. If the auxiliary air pressure is inappropriate.
When the air pressure is too low, edge scraping and carbonization will occur. Excessive pressure is easy to crack. Therefore, this requires perfect cooperation between the operator and the machine.
4. Servo motor parameter error.
When the circular hole is elliptical or irregular, this may be due to a mismatch with XY axis motion. The direct reason for this is that the servo motor parameters are not adjusted correctly.
5. Accuracy error caused by guide rail and lead screw.
This is usually related to the strength of laser cutting machine manufacturers. Some small manufacturers will cheat customers, saying that the positioning accuracy of their laser cutting machines can reach 0.1mm. But in fact, this precision cannot be achieved. Therefore, it is very necessary to choose high-quality and big brand laser cutting machines.
